Main (also known as Hamiltone or guitar “Could not Stand the Weather”) was a Fender Stratocaster guitar custom made style for Vaughan by James Hamilton in Buffalo, NY. It was presented by James Vaughan as a gift from Billy Gibbons on April 29, 1984. This fender stratocaster srv relic guitar has a maple body and a two-piece design “of the body from the neck-through.” It also had the original EMG pickups preamped but Vaughan did not like the pickups in it. Her next video was about to be done, what is “Could not Stand the Weather,” and do not want to Number One wet during filming, so he used the Hamiltone for filming.
